Transcription: As you begin to address a conflict you'll want to evaluate the level of the conflict at hand. So now we're going to identify three stages of conflict. We identify these stages as Stage 1, everyday concerns and disputes, the least threatening type of conflict. Stage 2, more significant challenges and they usually have long-term consequences and high emotional involvement. Stage 3, overt battles the most destructive to individuals and organizations because the desire to win is surpassed by the desire to punish.
